RoHS

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, was introduced on July 1st 2006 and is now a legal requirement.

The RoHS directive restricts the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic products, including Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE).

HK Wentworth Ltd formerly Dancap Electronics has worked closely with the Hakko Corporation of Japan to ensure that all Hakko products sold by HK Wentworth Ltd formerly Dancap Electronics comply with the RoHS requirements and do not contain any of the above substances.
