The Temperature Probe for Hot Air Rework System (No. C1541) is equipped with 2 types of sensors. Before measuring temperatures as follows, connect the sensor to the thermometer ( HAKKO FG-100B, HAKKO FG-100(Discontinued) and HAKKO FG-101).

Rework can be performed without causing damage to the parts being reworked (QFP, etc.)
How to use Sensor B
Let’s look at how to measure the temperature using Sensor A! First, treat the sensor A as follows:
- Bend the end as shown in the photo
- in a contactless manner
- with a 1-2mm gap
- apply the end to the measuring point while being careful not to apply hot air to the contact section.
Be careful that hot air is only applied to the end section. Failure to do so may not allow correct temperature to be measured. * Photo of the FG-100 discontined.

|Loosen the fixing lever to remove the holder assembly and set collar and mount the probe on the shaft. Condition where the temperature probe end is positioned in a contactless manner with a 1-2mm gap from the nozzle end.|
C) Method for measuring hot air from Preheater
Condition where the probe end is positioned in a contactless manner with a 1mm gap from the nozzle end
